Micheal Lehnert revealed the extent of Lewandowski’s injury as he might have fractured his tibia. The damage has also been described as a Knee injury. He said the injury could be conventionally called a Fracture, but it isn’t what people might call it to be it. Instead, he described it as a precursor to a fracture.
He said; A severe collision causes a fluid usually blood to store up in the bone, which is primarily a precursor to a fracture. It is otherwise known as Infraction. No part of the bone has lost completely.”
However, an MRI scan can detect the damage which the Polish suffered as a result of an ariel challenge in the 36th minute in the champions league game against Chelsea on Tuesday night, but he went on to end the game with even a goal.
Lehnert added that Lewandowski had pains, and he knew he would have told Dr. Hans Wilhelm how he felt. The physician, however, gave the good news that Lewandowski should be back in action for the Bavarians in four weeks but not straight into the field of play as he would be basic training with the rest of the team.
The club team doctors will. However make sure that Injury is adequately healed. All fingers will be crossed as they hope all plans fall accordingly.
