Serie A: Dybala, Kessié, Insigne and others set to become free agents

With many top players in the Serie entering the last six months of their contracts, most of them are expected to move to another club either this January or as a free agent in the summer.

The players include Paulo Dybala, Franck Kessié, Marcelo Brozovic, Lorenzo Insigne and Andrea Belotti.

The mentioned players are eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement from now on. If they reach an agreement with the clubs, they can complete a free transfer at the end of the season.

Concerning Paulo Dybala, it seemed the Argentine loves it at Turin, and it was gathered that he has reached an agreement with Juventus, but he hasn’t yet signed his contract due to bureaucratic issues. Thus he is not expected to put pen to paper on a new deal before February.

This gives him the further option to negotiate with another club should Juve fail to sign an extension deal.

According to reports, Juventus wants him to stay at the Allianz Stadium and a new €10m-a-year deal including add-ons until 2026 has been agreed by both parties.

When it comes to Franck Kessie, his stay at the San Siro is unlikely after rejecting the €6.5m contract offered by the Rossoneri – three times his current pay at the club.

Thus, the issue is about money as his agent requested a new salary of at least €8m per season, which Milan is not ready to offer.

According to reports, Tottenham are waiting to sign the Ivorian. Others monitoring the situation include Liverpool and PSG.

Meanwhile, Andrea Belotti will leave Torino in June, as confirmed by Torino president Urbano Cairo.

Although he has been linked with a move to Milan, Belotti could move to Toronto FC that will likely sign Lorenzo Insigne and Genoa captain Domenico Criscito in the summer.

As regards Insigne, the Napoli captain will also leave the side after he was offered a lower salary than his current €3.5m-a-year deal.

Since Toronto FC have offered him €5.7m net per season, plus add-ons, he is expected not to turn down such a huge offer.

As for Marcelo Brozovic, the Croat might stay at San Siro as a negotiation over a new deal is ongoing the Nerazzurri are confident that the 29-year-old will extend his stay.

This is following the earlier rejection from the club as he requested a salary in the region of €6m.

Being one of the hottest commodities on the market that is being monitored by  Tottenham coach Antonio Conte, Inter is expected to raise their offer in order to meet him halfway.
