As if that wasn’t the only scenario, Neymar also lost his temper as he was shown a yellow card for a strange reaction on the ball.
Mbappe was enjoying himself on the pitch as he scored the fourth goal before the fourth official raised the board for his substitution.
However, the French sensation wasn’t happy as that decision from his manager led to a heated exchange of words between the two. The manager tried to explain his decision to substitute him for Argentine forward Mauro Icardi, but the Frenchman turned deaf ears.
Mbappe, who has bagged 22 goals in 25 games in this current campaign angrily marched to his place on the bench as he refused to put on his training jacket.
Tuchel later revealed to the reporters that he understood how frustrated the 22-year old was. He said; I am the manager of this team. I decide who goes out and comes in.”
“Kylian is a very brilliant player who has an understanding who what he does. He does not like to be substituted, and nobody likes it either.”
” What happened today is not a food scenario, but it happens everywhere, and we have to deal with such situations intelligently.’
Taking a look at things, the Mbappe-Tuchel situation is quite unfortunate as it goes against the team’s state of mind. Tuchel’s expression shows he wasn’t happy at the situation. The manager expressed himself as he said: ” We have to respect everyone, we play soccer and not tennis”.
However, Tuchel has not confirmed if Kylian Mbappe will be sanctioned for his behaviour.
