Ever since his arrival at Celtic from Vissel Kobe in Japan during the 2021 summer window and has since then gone to have a stellar season.

Though at some point, injury halted his progress and was sidelined for about three months. However, that didn’t stop him from contributing to the success of the team as he won the SPFL title and League Cup, playing a vital role.

Asked in a recent interview how he felt since he joined Celtic, the 27-year-old happily voiced his excitement and love for the support he has received, most especially from the fans and club staff.

“Joining Celtic has been one of the very happiest moments in my career. I felt at home as the fans welcomed me with open arms during and off the pitch. Honestly, I feel loved, and I will continue to give my best in every game”. He said.

Quizzed as to what his plans and aspirations are for the coming season and the World Cup, Kyogo revealed he hopes to get fit to be picked regularly for more games and score more goals.

“The World Cup is every player’s dream, and I hope to get picked by the coach and help my country go far in the competition.”

As for Celtic, I hope we defend the title successfully and win it again and give our very best at the UEFA Champions League”. He added.

These revelations from Kyogo show he holds his club and country in high regard and how focused he is. The desire and hunger for success could be a worthy emulation for his teammates as well.

No doubt this is a very good signing by manager Ange Postecoglou who has been brilliant since he took charge of the Hoops in the summer.
