Warriors star Draymond Green feels that teammate Steph Curry will finish with a thousand three pointers more than Ray Allen

    December 14, 2021

The Golden State Warriors have been in fine form this season and their loss against the Philadelphia 76ers were a hard one to swallow for the fans. However, some NBA fans were more concerned about Steph Curry not breaking the three’s record than the Dubs losing.

The entire NB fraternity are waiting for Curry to break Ray Allen’s record. But it has not happened in their comeback win against the Indiana Pacers. The Warriors somehow scrambled home with a 102-100 win over the Pacers. Unlike the game against the Sixers, Curry led the scoring charge for the Dubs with 26 points. However the focus of most fans were not on the result, it was on Curry’s moment of breaking the legendary three-point record. But sadly it did not happen today as the Chef needs only two three-pointers to achieve that feat.

Curry shot five three-pointers in the game against the Pacers and had the opportunity to equal Ray Allen’s record with 15 seconds left on the clock. curry took the shot but he missed. However, Kevon Looney scored from the rebound to see the Warriors home with a two point lead.

However right after the game, Draymond Green claimed that Curry will probably end up hanging his boots with a thousand more three points than the legendary Ray Allen. Green also revealed how the Warriors offence is built around the Chef and how his ball movement decides their style of attack in different matches against different opponents.

“If we’re playing against a set defense, every time Steph’s going to have the ball. That’s our offense is built around Steph Curry and the last two-three games we played against the set defense. Every play we’re not getting out in transition really because we’re following turn the ball over,” Green said at the post-match press conference.

“Saying that I’ll be happy as hell when it’s over. He got it and ultimately I think he’ll end up beating his record by a thousand plus three. So I’ll be happy when it’s behind,” the elite defender added.

Steph Curry will surely break ray Allen’s record at the Maddison Square garden when the Warriors will take on the New York Knicks in the next NBA clash. Curry needs only two three-pointers but he will probably help his team win than looking at a personal record.
