    September 11, 2020

Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors will have to decide the winner of the tie in game seven of the series after the Raptors won 125-122 double overtime.

Raptors’ Norman Powell scored 23 points despite coming off the bench while the defending champions had Kyle Lowry to thank after he scored 33 points as the defending champions tie the series 3-3.

The final spot in the Eastern Conference final against Miami Heat will be decided on Friday when the Raptors and the Boston Celtics play in the 7th game of the series.

Raptors’ Kyle Lowry admitted to both team’s approach to the game as a win or burst encounter.

“That was two hard teams playing hard. Win or go home. Get it done. Don’t matter who has to do it. Ready for game seven. We play every possession like it’s our last and find ways to pull out victories.” Lowry was quoted saying.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Clippers defeated Denver Nuggets 96-85 to lead the Western Conference semi-final play-offs by 3-1.

Kawhi Leonard took charge of the game 4 scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists in the victory.

Meanwhile, there are plans to move back the NBA draft to November 18 it a memo sent to teams on Wednesday is anything to go by.

Plans for the NBA draft will be discussed this week between the NBA Board of Governors and General Managers.

The meetings have been scheduled for Thursday and Friday, and should the dates be moved, it will make it the second time, since the first date of June 25 was pushed to October 16, that the dates will be changed.
