Los Angeles Lakers One win away from NBA Finals win

    October 7, 2020

The Los Angeles Lakers are close to winning their first NBA title in ten years after they got past a late Miami Heat rampage in the game 4 of the NBA final.

Lakers now lead 3-1 in the finals, but after Jimmy Butler’s inspired performance for the Heats to take the finals to 2-1 in game 3, Lakers had Anthony Davies late three points throw to thank for the win.

Davies made the throw with just 39.5 seconds of the game left. The game played in the early hours of Wednesday saw Lakers win 102 to 96 to take a 3-1 lead in the best of seven series.

Game 5 of the series will be played on early Saturday morning, and a win for the Lakers will give them the title, but L A Lakers forward, LeBron James, said that the finals has not ended and the job is not done.

“Felt like a finals game, Felt like both teams were desperate … and that’s what it’s all about. The job is not done,” James said.

LeBron was the top performer for the Lakers on the night with 28 points and 8 assists, and 12 rebounds.

However, Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo stated that hope is not lost for his team. The player who was a doubt for the game 4 after missing game 3 due to injury alongside Dusan Dragic, said this with the reality that game 5 on Friday is a must-win or bust for the team.

The top performer for the Heats is Jimmy Butler, who followed his game 3 heroics, where he had triple-double for the team, with 22 points, 9 assists, and 10 rebounds.

While the Lakers took the first quarter, third and fourth quarter with 27-22, 26-23, and 27-26, the Heats won just the second quarter with 25-22.
