Latest COVID-19 Test Reveals No Positive result in The NBA Bubble

    August 20, 2020

From the latest 341 COVID-19 test carried out on players in the NBA bubble has revealed no positive results.

This is despite the fact that players have been leaving the bubble for various reasons recently, ranging from injuries to personal reasons.

Sixteen teams began the NBA playoffs games on the Monday, 17th of August.

On Wednesday, Toronto Raptors beat Brooklyn 104-99 points victory to move closer to the Eastern Conference semi-finals.

Norman Powell and VanVleet were the biggest performers for Toronto Raptors as they both scored 24 points, although half of Powell’s 24 points came in the fourth quarter while VanVleet had 10 assists too.

Should Toronto Raptors get the needed results to move into the semi-finals, Boston Celtics or Philadelphia 76ers will be waiting for them.

The Raptors had lost the first quarter by 29 to 33 points, but the 2nd quarter saw them win by 21 points to 20 while Brooklyn Nets took the third round 27 points to 24 points, but the fourth quarter was overwhelming for the Nets with Raptors winning 30 points to 19 points.

The third game of the series will come up on Friday.

Meanwhile, LeBron James has lent his voice for Breonna Taylor, who was murdered in March Louisville.

The Los Angeles Lakers forward made the call in Game 1 of the playoffs against Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.

“This is something [where] we continue to put our foot on the gas, continue the pressure. The situation that has gone on in Louisville, Kentucky, with an innocent woman by the name of Breonna Taylor being killed. There have been no arrests. There has been no justice, not only for her but for her family. We want to continue to shed light on that situation because it is unjust.” LeBron was quoted at the post-match conference.
