I loved Klay’s game tonight – Steve Kerr after GSW beat Utah Jazz

    November 28, 2022

Golden State Warriors secured their 10th win of the season as they defeated Utah Jazz by 129-118 on Friday night. GSW head coach Steve Kerr showered praise on Klay Thompson for playing a key role in the team’s win as he showed all the patience in his shot-making.

Thompson scored 20 points for the Dubs and supported Steph Curry, who was once again magnificent for his team. Curry scored 33 points with six 3-pointers as he was at his absolute best.

“It’s been fun to watch,” coach Steve Kerr said as quoted by AP. “… “I loved Klay’s game tonight.”

After scoring 31 points against the LA Clippers, Andrew Wiggins scored 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Kerr believes Thompson is finding his Midas Touch after getting off to a slow start in the season and it is a big positive for the team.

“That’s really key for us when he is just playing under control, taking the shots when they’re there and when they’re not. It just kind of sets the table for us,” Kerr said. ”It’s a great display of patience and then shot-making when we really needed them in that late third.”

GSW defender Draymond Green admitted the team still has areas to improve but they are stabilized at the moment.

“We still have things to work on but we are stabilized,” Green said. “We’re starting to play our brand of basketball on both ends of the floor.”

On the other hand, Utah Jazz coach Will Hardy feels Steph Curry is ‘terrifying’ when he gets going.

“He’s just as terrifying today as he was then,” Hardy said of the reigning NBA Finals MVP’s growth from even six or seven years ago.

GSW will next take on Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night.
