He changed the game of basketball forever – Kendrick Perkins on Steph Curry

NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins has showered praise on Steph Curry for changing the game of basketball forever. Curry is regarded as one of the best shooters of all time and his record speaks for himself. The talisman recently led Golden State Warriors to the NBA Championship and he played an instrumental role in the success of his team.

Perkins believes Curry deserves all the credit as he is not the tallest of players at 1.88 m (6’’2’). Curry was at his best throughout the season for the Dubs and he has time and again proved his mettle.

ESPN’s Perkins praised the renowned All-Star. “You have to give a guy credit for what he’s doing at his size, because he has changed the game of basketball forever,” Perkins said for Curry.

He concluded: “Do you realize, Max [Kellerman], that when you go to an AAU tournament…” Perkins went on to add Curry’s impact to the youth, “you’re watching guys pull up from three because they feel like they’re Steph Curry?”

Curry has been a special player for Golden State Warriors and he has been able to get the best of players like Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole. Furthermore, he shares a great bonhomie with his teammates.

Meanwhile, Curry averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 2.0 steal while shooting 48.2% overall in the NBA Finals as he was at his best. Thus, Curry was awarded the Final MVP for his prolific performance against the Boston Celtics.

Curry has an impressive resume as he is a two-time season MVP, Finals MVP, first Western Conference MVP winner and four-time champion and he has achieved almost everything in the game. The 34-year-old from Ohio will be determine to continue playing in the same manner.
